The goal of a windsurfing test lesson is for beginners to get familiar with the basics of windsurfing, test their skills, have fun, and ultimately decide whether to continue on the full basic course. So, get excited to gain some skills in this amazing sport in the beautiful nature park in Croatia! 

Windsurf Station is situated near Premantura, in the Istrian south. Besides beautiful scenery, clear water, and untouched nature and beaches - Premantura is an ideal place for learning how to surf! 

This course is broken down into two hours: an hour of theoretical lessons on a dry land windsurfing simulator, followed by an hour on the sea with the instructor guiding you through your very first windsurfing steps!

After finishing the lesson, you'll know if it's the right fit for you! If you find you love it, the next step is continuing to the basic course to perfect your skills and to enjoy it all by yourself. *The two-hour test course is simply an introduction to the world of windsurfing and after completing it, you won't be able to windsurf by yourself without the instructor. The full basic six-hour course is required for windsurfing on your own. 

*If continuing to the basic course, the final price is reduced by the already paid test course. 

What's the best age to learn windsurfing?

Age 9-16: This is an ideal age for learning, the participants are strong enough to easily manage the board and the sail. They're eager and carefree which makes them very fast learners.

Age 17 and up: Young adults and adults are usually more determined to learn and they often continue to windsurf regularly. The main barrier to pass for this age group is letting go of the initial fear. After that barrier is broken down, for most participants windsurfing becomes a joyful part of every holiday on the water!

To complete the course during the ideal weather, please consider booking the lesson at least 2-3 days before the desired start.
